Victoria Rinaldi - Screen Writer
Screenwriter Victoria Rinaldi started her professional life as a ballerina performing with major ballet and opera companies worldwide affording her a first hand view of the inner workings of the world of opera, dance and music. From 1990 to 2002 Victoria was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet giving her an opportunity to work the best and most colorful singers, choreographers and directors in the opera world today. It was a rehearsal period of “La Traviata” at the Metropolitan Opera late in her career that inspired her first screenplay “Opening Night” and its sequel “Final Curtain.” While working with the Met she was also a member of the “Daring Project” a group of elite dancers from major companies touring worldwide which was the subject of a documentary by Becky Smith due to be released this year. Her experiences, surroundings, plus a very active imagination combine to give her writing an authenticity and humor that is unique.
“See You in September” is Victoria’s first collaboration with Joe Cilibrasi, she presently has completed six original screenplays and has another two in development.
