Founder and President of Cilibrasi & Associates Inc., and possesses more than 20 years of experience as a Business Manager and Tax Specialist serving all types of businesses and individual professions. While he has a broad range of business experiences, Mr. Cilibrasi has achieved a focus on the entertainment industry.
Mr. Cilibrasi is a Producer for the hit Broadway show “Spring Awakening”, where he was nominated for a TONY award and the show received eleven nominations. Joe is also involved with Broadway’s “Legally Blonde” and “Radio Golf”.
Mr. Cilibrasi has more than 12 films to his credit as a film producer, financier and film production accountant. Joe is the producer and co-writer of the film “See You In September”, which will begin shooting this summer. Mr. Cilibrasi has worked with Francis Ford Coppola on “Goosed” as well as the Miramax release of “Tumbleweeds”. Joe is the Executive Producer of the films “Rhapsody on the Rocks”, “Searching for Angela Shelton”., a producer on the films “Stolen Childhoods” and “Chasing the Dragon”. He was also an Associate Producer of the film “Easy Riders, Raging Bulls”.
Mr. Cilibrasi began his career in the tax department of a large Big 8 CPA firm in New York City. He was head of Business and Tax affairs of the well-respected News Agency, N.S. Bienstock. At Bienstock, he work closely with Super Agent Richard Leibner and was actively involved in the day-to-day financial affairs of his news and theatrical clients. After leaving N.S. Bienstock, Mr. Cilibrasi joined Ziderman Oberman & Associates, Inc. At Ziderman, he expanded his business management skills to the areas of film & television production accounting, music production accounting, film financing and risk management.
In January 1988, Joseph created his own business management firm with an emphasis on entertainment. His clients included well known actors, models, film producers and directors, record producers and the behind the scenes individuals of film and television production. In 1993, Mr. Cilibrasi renamed his company Cilibrasi & Associates Inc., and focused on growing his practice and cultivating his success in the areas of film & TV production accounting & business management.
